Recruitment Process

Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you with next steps. We usually start with a short phone interview. Next, we may invite you for an in-person interview with the hiring manager and one or more team members. This process can vary depending on the job position.

The interview process is designed for us to get to know each other and determine if there is a mutual fit. Be prepared to explain how your education, experiences and achievements relate to the role you’re pursuing at Cree. Research our company and be prepared to ask us questions, too.

Wear an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and confident about the contributions you can make in the role you’re pursuing.

Your recruiter will help you understand next steps following an interview, including an estimated timeline for when you should hear back with a final decision.

We will let you know if your interview includes a facility tour. Please wear closed toe shoes if you have been invited on a tour.

It’s always a good idea to thank the people who you’ve met and interviewed with during the recruitment process. Ask your interviewers for their contact information, or check with your recruiter about how to send a thank you note.
